Soapstone Ride

A beautiful one hour drive to the trailhead into the high Uinta Mountains. This ride will start at 8,690 feet and moderately climb to 10,080 feet.

In July and August you will see over 20 different kinds of wild flowers. The highlight is a side trip climbing up to the bluffs overlooking the Duchesne River Valley 2,700 feet below.

The return trip is mostly downhill. The total trip-time (Approx. 4 hours riding time) will depend on the ability level of the group.
